Dental Implantology
Dental implants are used to restore missing teeth. Our office offers complete implant services. Led by our staff Periodontist, Dr. Peter Y. Choi, we place and restore over 300 dental implants per year. Dr. Choi graduated from Case Western School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He received his Masters in Periodontoligy from Case Western in 1988. He taught at Case Western Dental School for 6 years and was the director of Implantology at the University of Pittsburgh for 3 years. He is a board certified Periodontist and is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Choi first joined our staff in 2001. Dr. Choi works closely with our staff general dentists to restore the implants. This direct communication allows for maximum success. Often time a patient with a problem is caught between doctor’s offices with conflicting views and advice. Our system allows for a three way conversation, with the patient able to talk directly to the specialist and the restoring general dentist together. This eliminates double talk and excuses and affords the patient optimum care.
